Sheldon, Iowa — The calendar says Spring began more than two weeks ago, but apparently somebody forgot to tell Mother Nature, as the winter-like weather continues in our area.
KIWA talked to National Weather Service Forecaster Daniel Kalin Thursday afternoon, and asked him about the unseasonal weather we’ve been experiencing.
Considering such a bleak forecast for Friday, we asked Kalin what we can expect for weather this weekend.
We had him gaze into his crystal ball and predict when Spring might finally arrive.
With the weather we’ve had so far this Spring, most of us here in northwest Iowa are just hoping the forecast says it’s Spring before the calendar says it’s Summer.
