Vet: Pets’ Dental Health Is Important Too

Sheldon, Iowa — We all know that brushing and flossing are important for healthy teeth. But what if those teeth belong to your cat or dog?

Sheldon Veterinarian, Dr. Sandy Schmith says pets need dental care too. In fact, she tells us that February is National Pet Dental Health Month.

She says prevention can go a long way too.

Dr. Schmith encourages you to set up an appointment with your veterinarian for each of your pets.

She encourages pet owners to give her office a call — that’s the Sheldon Veterinary Medical Center — at 712-324-0175.
