Weather to Make Travel Hazardous

Moderate to heavy rain will begin to change over to snow from west to east this morning into early afternoon. With strong winds gusting from 40 to 60+mph throughout the day, near blizzard conditions will be possible. Travel will be very difficult if not impossible. Snow will gradually end early this evening, but strong winds will continue to lead to poor travel conditions through Friday morning.

Strong north winds sustained at 30 to 35 mph and gusting from 40 to 60+mph will be likely today. The combination of falling snow and strong winds will lead to white-out conditions. Be prepared! If you must travel, check road conditions before you go.
Widespread ponding of water and increased river flooding will persist through the end of the week. If you encounter a barricaded or flooded road, find a new route!
