Knowledge Nugget:
While digging for upcoming knowledge nuggets, I came across a recurring timing theme. Out of the 4 major wars that have been extensively and primarily fought on US Soil since the formation of the country, 3 of which began in April. The Civil War began on April 12th, Revolutionary War on April 19th, and the Mexican-American War on April 25th. The only other major war that was fought extensively on US Soil post-1776, was the War of 1812, which started in June.
