It’s National Sweet Tea Day!
Sweet tea is most commonly made by adding sugar, or simply syrup to black tea while the tea is either brewing, or still hot. Artificial sweeteners are also frequently used.
It is high on sugar content, however, so it can lead to weight gain and dental issues. Enjoy in moderation, balance it with water, reduce the sugar and view it as a special treat rather than a daily beverage.
