Travelmag.com released its list of the best steakhouses in Iowa last week, and not only is there one in our area, there’s one just outside of our area that many people in the area visit as well.
The 1015 Steak Company in Sibley made the list. Travelmag.com says it’s worth the drive. The article says, “Steaks are hand-cut and cooked with real care, delivering big flavor and impressive tenderness. Every plate reflects the pride behind the kitchen. The menu features cuts that satisfy both light and hearty appetites, so there is something for everyone. Diners often leave already planning their next visit. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, mixing small-town friendliness with a polished dining feel. It strikes a lovely balance that keeps guests comfortable. The article praises 1015’s hospitality, saying they treat visitors like welcome guests rather than passersby.
Also making the list — in fact, topping the list at number one — is Archie’s Waeside in Le Mars.
