NPB and partners receive $155 million from USDA Climate-Smart program

IARN — The USDA announced their investment of up to $2.8 billion dollars for 70 selected projects in the Partnership for Climate-Smart Commodities. National Pork Board was a leader in one of the grants and a contributor to two additional, totaling $155 million. Ashley McDonald, interim vice president of sustainability with the National Pork Board, said they are excited for the projects and how they will benefit the pork producer.
