IARN — There are many issues for producers to consider as we approach the next year. This year was marked by high volatility, so how can we take a look at those issues and be more prepared for next year? A lot of that volatility was evident in farmland prices, and the state of Iowa alone saw two record-setting sales. Matt Erickson, economic and policy advisor with Farm Credit Services of America, provided his thoughts on what likely caused those strong land prices.
