(KIWA Staff Photo)Sioux Center, Iowa (Sioux County Radio) — Dordt University has been recognized in the 2027 College Rankings as one of the Top 25 Hidden Gem Colleges that Improve Students’ Economic Futures by College Raptor.
The rankings are designed to measure how effectively colleges position students for success after graduation.
The ranking evaluates factors such as accessibility for low-income students, post-graduation earnings, degree completion rates, and student loan repayment success.
Dordt Director of Admissions Orrie Rodriguez says the university focuses on preparing students not only for their first job after graduation, but also for long-term success through academic preparation, spiritual formation, and readiness for careers and opportunities that may not yet exist.
College Raptor ranked Dordt 17th among the 25 institutions included on the Hidden Gem Colleges list, selected from thousands of schools evaluated nationwide.
Dordt also ranked eighth on College Raptor’s list of Top Hidden Colleges in the Plains Region.
