Hospers, Iowa — The ground has been broken for the new EMS and fire building in Hospers. The groundbreaking took place on Friday morning.
Hospers EMT and paramedic Nate DeHoogh says it’s a dramatic day for them.
DeHoogh says several situations — and one underlying theme — have made the facility necessary.
DeHoogh tells us this building will be built with EMS and Fire in mind.
Mandy Boersma tells us how much the facility is supposed to cost.
The new facility is being built west of American State Bank, right near the statue in the middle of town.
