Iowa DNR To Hold A Meeting Locally To Discuss Hunting, Trapping Seasons & Regs.

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources will be holding a series of meetings around the state to talk about the recently completed hunting and trapping seasons. Possible changes to rules and regulations will also be discussed along with other topics.

One of the sessions will be held at the Maser Monarch Lodge in Okoboji. It’s scheduled for 6:30 pm Tuesday, February 20th.

Todd Bishop, chief of the DNR’s Wildlife Bureau, says input from the meetings will be considered prior to any changes being proposed. Those would then need to go the Natural Resource Commission for consideration and public comment before final adoption.
