Sanborn, Iowa — A new tourism effort in O’Brien, Lyon, and Clay counties is underway, and this time, it involves golf.
O’Brien County Economic Development Director Kiana Johnson says this is the first effort for which these counties have collaborated. She tells us about it.
But, she says, they didn’t limit it to golf.
We asked Johnson, now that Belgrave has golfed his way through some of our golf courses and has sampled northwest Iowa’s coffee shops and restaurants, what the next step would be.
So, she says, be looking for that content and be sure to share it so that people all over know what we have to offer in northwest Iowa.
We asked her what’s next for the O’Brien/Lyon/Clay tourism partnership.
She says she thinks it was a fun event and it was good to collaborate with the other professionals, and she looks forward to what they come up with next. If you have any ideas or would like more information, feel free to call her office at 712-930-1313.
