Orange City Woman Taken To Hospital After Sioux Center Area Crash

Sioux Center, Iowa — An Orange City woman was taken to a hospital after a crash on Saturday, August 22nd, 2026.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that about 3:25 p.m., 34-year-old Danielle Warntjes of Orange City was driving a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country northbound on Grant Avenue, a mile northwest of Sioux Center, when she lost control of the vehicle, which entered the west ditch.

The Sioux Center Ambulance took her to Sioux Center Health.

The Chrysler sustained approximately $5,000 in damage.

Warntjes was charged with failure to maintain control.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office tells us the Sioux Center Police Department, Sioux Center Ambulance Squad, and the Sioux Center Fire Department assisted with the response to the crash.
