Sibley, Iowa — Osceola County residents and others are invited to get a behind-the-scenes look at local public safety operations during a public open house at the new Osceola County Jail and Communications Center.
The open house will take place on Saturday, November 7th, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 309 6th Street in Sibley. Visitors are asked to use the west side entrance of the building.
Osceola County Sheriff Kevin Wollmuth tells us some of the advantages the new building offers.
Organizers say the event offers community members an opportunity to tour the new facility, learn more about the services provided, and see how local public safety professionals work together to keep Osceola County safe. Attendees will be able to take a firsthand look at the new investment in public safety and see how it will serve the county for years to come.
The event is free and open to the public.
