Primghar, Iowa — One of the biggest spooky attractions in northwest Iowa is open again this year — Scaritage Park in Primghar.

Shane Ohrt of Scaritage Park tells us more.

She says you might call it a haunted house, for lack of a better word, but that doesn’t begin to describe it — as there are a total of SIX buildings.

Scaritage Park, Back from the Dead, will be open this Friday, October 30th, and the final night Halloween night, from 7 to 10 pm each evening. Go to the Primghar Country Club, where you’ll buy your ticket, then be transported by hay wagon to the Scaritage Park site, where you’ll encounter six buildings full of the undead. Proceeds will go toward Primghar community projects.

Ohrt made her comments on the KIWA-FM Talk of the Town program, which can be heard live at 8:30 a.m. each Monday through Friday on KIWA-FM 105.3, and as a podcast at kiwaradio.com.
