(Sheldon Fire Chief, Brad Hindt - KIWA Staff Photo)Sheldon, Iowa — This is National Fire Prevention Week.
We had a chance to talk with Sheldon Fire Chief Brad Hindt, who tells us the theme of the week is “Charge into Fire Safety: Safe Charging Is a Superpower.” It’s all about charging rechargeable batteries safely, says Hindt.
The Sheldon Fire Company is having a burger fundraiser and open house this Thursday night at the Sheldon Fire Station, says Hindt.
He says they’ll have all the trucks and equipment parked outside so you can see them.
Again, the burger feed open house is from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday night at the Sheldon Fire Station.
