Sheldon, Iowa– The 2023 Sheldon United Fund drive is wrapping up nicely over the goal. The drive normally ends at the end of the year. Since the year ended over the weekend, United Fund officials tell us they will give us a final total next week.
The goal was $30,000, but donors have given $40,656, over $10,000 more than the goal. In the last week, donors gave $3,875.
The United Fund will be assisting 23 different organizations in Sheldon and the surrounding communities this time, and the board members thank the businesses and individuals of Sheldon and the surrounding communities for their continued support.
