(KIWA Staff Photo)Iowa City, Iowa (RI) — The University of Iowa’s Hubbell Environmental Law Initiative and Tippie College of Business have created a new resource for local governments weighing whether to welcome a data center — the Iowa Data Center Decision Tool.
Jen Terry with the Law Initiative says the tool is designed to help communities understand what questions they should ask when a data-center proposal comes to town.
Amy Colbert of the Tippie College of Business says the tool offers something artificial intelligence cannot.
The Iowa Data Center Decision Tool is available online through the Hubbell Environmental Law Initiative’s website.
