(KIWA Staff Photo)Week 8 of the NFL regular season kicks off Thursday, and the four of us at KIWA continue predict winners across the league and see who comes out on top.
Our panel features past competitors Nathan Broek, Anna Stallman, and Sam Heyn, along with newcomer Jason Muecke. The group makes selections for every matchup — from Thursday Night Football through Monday Night Football — with totals tracked throughout the season.
In Week 7, it was modest performances by the crew. Nate, Sam, and Anna turned in similar records at 7-7, which was topped by Jason at an 8-6 mark on the week. Wins for Detroit and Los Angeles helped fuel the edge he accomplished this week. A few lone picks were made by the crew. Sam was the only panelist to back Cincinnati in their road win against Baltimore, as well as the only panelist to correctly identify Kansas City’s first loss of the year at Seattle. Anna also made a lone pick, correctly identifying the Giants in their road win at Houston.
Through seven weeks, Nate remains one game ahead of Sam atop the standings. Anna sits four games back in third place, while Jason continues to gain a little ground on the pack.
