Iowa (RI) — Iowa Republican Party Chairman Jeff Kaufmann announced Thursday that President Donald Trump plans to campaign in Iowa twice before Election Day.
Kaufman said Trump is scheduled to hold events in Iowa on Thursday, Oct. 22nd, and Sunday, Nov. 1st. Details about the locations and times are expected to be released later.
In late September, during a White House event, Trump told U.S. Senate candidate Ashley Hinson, Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks, and Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird that he planned to campaign in Iowa on their behalf.
Kaufmann says Trump is eager to deliver his message directly to Iowa voters before they cast their ballots.
