(KIWA Staff Photo)Urbandale, Iowa (RI) — Sen. Chuck Grassley says Republicans who are disappointed with the party’s performance in Washington should still support GOP candidates in November to help Republicans maintain control of Congress.
Speaking Wednesday at the Westside Conservative Club in Urbandale, Grassley said he has heard from some Republicans who are discouraged because they believe the party has not delivered on campaign promises.
After his speech, Grassley told reporters Republicans have some ground to make up based on recent polling but said he remains optimistic about the party’s chances up and down the ballot this fall.
