Sheldon, Iowa — US Representative Ashley Hinson was in Sheldon on Tuesday, and we had a chance to catch up with her.
Hinson is a Congresswoman serving Iowa’s second district, which covers much of northeast Iowa, but she’s running for the U.S. Senate seat currently occupied by Joni Ernst, who is not running again. Hinson tells us why she’s running.
She says she’s proud to represent the people of Iowa.
Hinson says she knows people are struggling.
She says her opponent, Josh Turek, is what she calls “anti-agriculture.”
