Hull, Iowa — Two great schools and communities came together to raise money for the Boer family.
At the Western Christian vs Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley softball game on Tuesday, a walking taco supper and freewill donation was held to help Team Leo. Both the BHRV Nighthawks and Western Christian Wolfpack communities showed their support of Team Leo!
Western Christian won the varsity matchup 8-5, but the true WINNER was Team Leo!
$15,000 was raised to support the Boer family!
Leo Boer was born with esophageal atresia. It’s a rare birth defect where the tube connecting the mouth to the stomach is not complete.
