Orange City, Iowa — Kaley Arends has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Northwestern College next fall.
Arends is a 5’9” setter who is in her fourth year playing for George-Little Rock High School. Arends averages 7.2 assists and nearly two digs per set in leading the Mustangs to the class 1A regional finals with a 17-14 record. She ranks first among setters in the Siouxland Conference with 35 blocks and is tied for third in the conference with 48 aces. Arends earned all-conference honors as a junior and is a member of the National Honor Society. She plans to major in Athletic Training and is the daughter of Brian and Pam.
“Kaley’s passion for the game of volleyball has been very evident as she has attended our camps and open gyms over the last few years,” commented head Northwestern volleyball coach Kyle Van Den Bosch. “Kaley has the ability to bring a team together with the excitement and spirit by which she plays and will be a nice addition to our setter position. We are excited to welcome Kaley to our campus and volleyball team.”
