Baccam To Play Football At Northwestern

Kobi Baccam of Hull has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College this fall.

Baccam is a 5’7″, 160-pound athlete who played multiple positions for the Western Christian High School football team. Baccam accounted for over 900 yards of total offense and scored eight touchdowns in earning second team all-state honors last fall. He seized five interceptions, second most in the district, and converted 27-of-29 extra point attempts as a senior. Baccam was named first team all-district two years and received honorable mention honors as a sophomore. A member of the Academic All-State team and honor roll, Baccam plans to major in Education at Northwestern. He is the son of Sou and Mindy.

“Kobi is an outstanding athlete who can contribute to our team in multiple ways,” commented Northwestern Head Coach Matt McCarty. “He is explosive, is a threat to score every time he touches the football and knows what it takes to be successful. Kobi had a great high school career playing for Western Christian.
