Ashley Boer, a senior from Central Lyon High School in Rock Rapids, announced that she has accepted an athletic and academic scholarship. She has committed to Morningside College’s Volleyball Program.
Throughout Ashley’s high school career, she has participated in volleyball, basketball, track, and choir. Ashley is a three-year participant at the Iowa State track meet and a start on the 2013, 2015, and 2016 State semi-finalist volleyball teams. She was also a starter and key player in the 2014 state runner up team. Ashley has also received numerous softball awards. Throughout her softball career, Ashley has been selected as a first and second team Siouxland All-Conference recipient. Also, Ashley has been named to the Northwest Iowa Review team ans selected for the 2A All District Team.
Ashley Boer is a stand out volleyball athlete and notable member of the Central Lyon Volleyball Program. Ashley is a four-year letter winner in the sport of volleyball. Ashley respectively has accumulated 709 kills and 1,436 digs in her career. Ashley completed her high school career with a 94% serving percentage. She currently holds several Central Lyon volleyball records. Throughout her high school volleyball career, she has received first, second, and third team Siouxland All-Conference honors and Northwest class 1A and 2A district honors. Ashley’s senior year she received Class 2A-Honorable Mention All State recognition. In addition, Ashley was selected to the Northwest Iowa Review Team.
Ashley is a projected defensive specialist for the Morningside Mustangs.
