Boerhave and Kleinhesselink Sign with Briar Cliff

Sheldon Iowa — Sheldon Orab senior basketball players Kyle Boerhave and Jaden Kleinhesselink signed letters of intent Tuesday morning to continue their careers at Briar Cliff in Sioux City.

Boerhave scored 337 points his junior year averaging 14.7 points per game for a 60.1 field goal percentage. At the free throw line he went 63.3 percent. He also went 5-of-15 from three point range. Other numbers for Kyle included 188 rebounds on the season with 24 steals and 12 blocked shots.

Kleinhesslink scored 314 points his junior season averaging 13.7 per game. From the floor he hit 41.4 percent including 40-of-106 from three point range. At the line Jaden went 44-of-53 for 83 percent. Kleinhesslink also pulled down 74 rebounds, dished out 92 assists with 28 steals while also blocking 11 shots.

The two helped to lead Sheldon to an 18-5 record in their junior seasons. The Orabs went 15-4 in the Siouxland Conference.
