Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2018-2019 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Defense – Casey Byker, Safety (Dordt College)
Safety Casey Byker of Dordt is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Byker, a senior from Hudsonville, Michigan, had three interceptions, and two pick-sixes, on Saturday as Dordt defeated Jamestown 49-18. His first pick-six went for 97 yards early in the game and his second went for 41 yards in the second quarter to put Dordt up 28-6. He also added six solo tackles and one pass breakup. Dordt will host Briar Cliff on October 27. Kick off will be at 1 pm.
