Sergeant Bluff-Luton linebacker Jacob Imming committed to Iowa State on Thursday morning.
The Sergeant Bluff native was one of Iowa State’s top targets in the class of 2022
Imming picked Iowa State over offers from Iowa, Kansas State and Nebraska and interest from Northwestern.
Imming played on both sides of the ball for Sergeant Bluff-Luton. In 2020, he notched 49.5 total tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss and one sack. On offense, Imming rushed the ball nine times for 75 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught 30 passes for 502 yards and seven touchdowns. As a sophomore in 2019, Imming had 46 tackles and seven tackles for loss.
