Delperdang Joins Defender Volleyball

Haley Delperdang, a senior at Remsen-St. Mary’s High School (Iowa), has announced her intention to attend Dordt College and join the women’s volleyball program.

Delperdang finished her senior season with 223 kills, a .290 kill efficiency, and 2.79 kills per set. She had 26 aces, with a .908 serve efficiency, along with 40 block assists and 29 solo blocks. The 6-0 attacker finished her career with 612 kills, 242 blocks, and 90 service aces. Delperdang earned a first-team all-conference nod in 2016 and CYO all-tournament teams honors during her final two seasons.

“Haley has her best years of volleyball yet to be played. Already an impact player for her high school program led by Coach Angie Brownmiller, and a strong club player for MVP out of Sioux City, Haley has demonstrated that she can play successfully in many different front row positions. Her all around athleticism and strength, matched with her personality and desire to grow in her faith will make her years at Dordt College a real joy to experience,” said head coach Chad Hanson.

Haley is the daughter of Rick and Judy Delperdang of Remsen, Iowa. She intends to study Biology/Pre-Occupational Therapy at Dordt.
