Dordt Takes On Dakota Wesleyan Saturday

Dordt College continues the GPAC season with a road game against Dakota Wesleyan on Saturday, November 4 with a 1:00 kickoff.

Dakota Wesleyan is 5-5 overall and 3-4 in the GPAC. The Tigers started the year 2-1 and have gone 3-4 since.  The Tigers are 1-3 in their most recent four games with the win coming over Briar Cliff.

Wesleyan is averaging 41.8 points per game and allow 37.3 points per contest.   The Tigers are rushing for 244 yards per game and passing for 311 while the defense allows 202 yards per game on the ground and 283 in the air.

Dordt is 4-4 this season and 2-4 in the GPAC with losses this year to Morningside (62-23), Midland (33-28), Concordia (24-17) and Northwestern (41-23) in league play and a GPAC wins over Doane (21-16) and Hastings (30-23 2ot).

The Defenders average 30.5 points per game on offense and have allowed 27.8 points per game this season. The Defenders average 277 yards per game on the ground and the defense has allowed 213 yards rushing per contest. Dordt’s passing game is good for 174 yards per game and are allowing 210 yards per game in the air.

Wesleyan concludes their season with the game on Saturday while Dordt will conclude its season on Saturday, November 11 against Briar Cliff in Sioux Center.
