Orab Boys Basketball to Host Heelan Saturday November 25th

Sheldon Iowa — Sheldon High School will be hosting a Hall of Pride Game on Saturday November 25th. The date will feature a varsity double header. Sioux City East will play Spirit Lake tipping off at 3:00.

Sheldon will follow by playing Bishop Heelan at approximately 4:30 or 15 minutes after the first game finishes. The Hall of Pride Challenge game is a community service event that offers schools an opportunity to give back to a need or cause in their communities.

All proceeds from the raffle as well as free will donations to enter the game will be given to Madison Uhl and her family as she battles cancer. The four teams taking part will be selling raffle tickets in their communities in the coming weeks. Raffle tickets will be for an assortments of prizes to be drawn between the two games. Winners of the raffle do not have to be present at the game to win.

More information regarding prizes to be drawn for in the raffle and where to get raffle tickets will be announced at a later date. Organizers are looking forward to seeing a big crowd to cheer on the Orabs, Heelan, Spirit Lake and Sioux City East boys basketball teams in support a great cause.
