Dordt will travel to Mount Marty in Yankton, South Dakota to face the Lancers on Saturday, December 19 at 12:00 pm.
Mount Marty is 3-6 this season and 1-5 in the GPAC and has a conference win over the College of Saint Mary on December 2. The Lancers came out of a two week hiatus on December 16 and lost to Doane 67-66. The win over the College of Saint Mary stopped a five game losing skid that started with a November 8 loss to Dickinson State and included losses in the league to Doane, Briar Cliff, Morningside and Midland.
Karlee McKinney leads the team with a 15.0 points per game average and she is making 44.7 percent of her field goal attempts. Callie Otken scores 8.2 points per outing and Kayla Jacobson is at 5.3 points per contest. Peyton Stolle contributes 5.0 points per game. Eve Millar grabs a team high 6.1 rebounds per game and McKinney hands out 2.5 assists per game.
Dordt is 5-6 this season and 4-4 in the GPAC with wins over Doane, Midland, Jamestown and Hastings in league play.
Dordt is outscoring teams 72.1-70.8 and outrebound teams 45.5-35.4. Dordt converts 39.9 percent of its field goals while allowing teams to make 39.5 percent. Dordt also has made 30.6 percent of its three-point shots while opponents have made 35.4 percent.
Ashtyn Veerbeek scores 14.7 points per game and has a team high 9.5 rebounds per outing while converting 46.4 percent of her field goal attempts. Bailey Beckman’s average is 13.7 points per game and she has 26 assists and has converted 17 three-point field goals. Erika Feenstra’s scoring average is 13.3 and she gets 5.6 rebounds per game and is making 47.7 percent of her field goals and has also gotten to the free throw line 44 times and makes 80 percent of those attempts. Karly Gustafson adds 10.2 points per game with 7.0 rebounds and is converting 55.3 percent of her field goals. has sat out the last five games with injury and has a 10.2 points per game average with 6.4 rebounds and she is making a team best 53.1 percent of her field goals. Mya Chmielewski and Bayleet Tetzlaff add 7.4 and 5.5 points per game and Jordyn Winterfeld is handing out 3.5 assists per game to pace the team.
