Dordt Women’s Cross Country Finishes 8th At Nationals

Cedar Rapids, Iowa –The Defender women’s cross country team earned a Top-10 finish at Friday’s National Championships in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Dordt was paced by Jessica Kampman, who finished 31st overall with an 18:28 time. Just behind her in a pack of runners were Anika Homan and Eden Winslow.

Six of the seven Dordt runners finished with sub-20 minute times, with Margaret Myskowski finishing in 19 minutes, Brenna Tolkamp at 19:23, Taylor Anema at 19:50, and Mary Kate Postma at 20:49.

St. Francis (IL) took the championship with 111 points, with College of Idaho and Taylor rounding out the top 3 team finishes.
