Harmsen is in his fifth season as the head coach of Dordt University women’s basketball program, leading his team to a national runner-up finish last year and to a national tournament appearance during both the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons.
The fifth-ranked Defenders are off to their best start in program history and are currently in first place in the GPAC with one game left prior to the Christmas break.
