Track Events – Sarah Wensink, Dordt University
Sarah Wensink of Dordt is this week’s track athlete-of-the-week. Wensink, a senior from Sioux Center, Iowa, won the 1,000m at the Dennis Young Invite by over 2.5 seconds and surpassed the automatic qualifying marking in the event. She leads the GPAC by over 2.5 seconds in the event, and she is currently seventh nationally in the event.
