Sioux City, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following basketball players-of-the-week for contests played Dec. 2-8, 2019. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2019-2020 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Basketball Players-of-the-Week
Women – Erika Feenstra, Dordt University (Forward)
Dordt University forward Erika Feenstra is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women’s basketball player-of-the-week. Feenstra, a junior from Hull, Iowa, averaged 22.7 points per game in three wins for the Defenders. On the week she converted on 62 percent of her field goals and leads the nation in field goal percentage. She also pulled down eight boards in two the wins and added three assists, three steals and two blocked shots during the three-game stretch.
