Sheldon is coming off a season opening loss to Sioux Center, a team ranked #8 in the latest 3A poll. South O’Brien looks to go 2-0 on the season after a win at home against Sioux Central.

Orab Head Coach Tyler Lloyd sees a Wolverine team that is physical with an offense operated with a high degree of efficiency.

Lloyd adds the Orabs will have to be ready to defend the run.

South O’Brien Head Coach Mark Fuhrman is impressed with the Orabs size and speed.

The keys to a Wolverine win this week are pretty simple.

The coach Kory Roos joins LA for the coverage this season on KIWA AM 1550 and FM 100.7.

Boyden Hull Rock Valley #4 in the latest 3A poll won their opener at Hesla Field in Hull against Central Lyon George Little Rock who opened the season as the top team in 2A. This week the Nighthawks are back at Hesla as the guests of Western Christian. The Wolfpack have the #10 spot in the 1A poll after falling on the road to this weeks top ranked team in 2A West Lyon.

Nighthawks Head Coach Corey Brandt talks about the rivalry.

This weeks goal along with a win is to see his team get better.

Wolfpack Head Coach Travis Kooima is impressed with the Nighthawks speed and overall effort.

The big key for the Wolfpack defense will be to limit explosive plays.

Jon and Justin Hellinga continue our season long coverage of the Nighthawks on KIWA FM 105.3.
