Boone Iowa — District assignments are out and Sheldon will be in District 2 of Class 2A this year. The Orabs will be joined by Cherokee, Sioux Center, Sioux Central, Unity and West Sioux.
The other half of the Substate in District 1 includes Central Lyon, Okoboji, Sibley Ocheyedan, Spirit Lake, West Lyon and Western Christian. With 6 teams in each district the top two teams will get a bye into the semifinals.

In Class 1A all Districts include 8 teams so it will be an 8 team bracket with no byes in the first round. Most area teams will be in District 1. The group includes Akron Westfield, Gehlen, George Little Rock, HMS, MMCRU, South O’Brien, Remsen St Mary’s and Trinity Christian.
Harris Lake Park was assigned to District 2 along with Alta Aurelia, Bishop Garrigan, G-T-R-A, Newell Fonda, Ridge View, Storm Lake St Mary’s and West Bend Mallard.
