The Iowa Hawkeye men closed the opening half on an 18-3 run and cruised to a 103-76 exhibition win over Quincy University.
Ben Krikke was one of seven Hawkeyes in double figures, The Valparaiso transfer finished with 14 points and added seven rebounds.
The Hawkeyes struggled early and trailed by as many as 10 points.
Krikke likes the depth on the team.
Iowa Head Coach Fran McCaffery says Krikke leads a front court that has added depth this season.
The Hawkeyes open at home a week from Tuesday night against North Dakota.
