Iowa State Bids For First Big 12 Win At TCU Tuesday Night

Fort Worth, Texas — Iowa State coach Steve Prohm hopes improved play in the last week leads to a first Big 12 win.

The Cyclones get their next chance tomorrow night at TCU. ISU is 0-8 in the league race after dropping a pair of close games to nationally ranked foes West Virginia and Oklahoma.

Prohm says as the Cyclones have gotten closer to full strength they have made progress.

The Cyclones are coming off a 7 point loss at ninth ranked Oklahoma.

Despite the struggles in the Big 12 junior guard Rasir Bolton says there is no quit in the Cyclones.

Bolton says the Cyclones are committed to breaking through in the Big 12.

Bolton says the players have been putting in extra work on perimeter shooting. The Cyclones made 16 three pointers against the Sooners.

TCU is 3-5 in the Big 12.
