Ames, Iowa (RI) — Iowa State sophomore guard Killian Toure will be sidelined for the first half of next season after undergoing surgery on his injured shoulder.
Toure suffered the injury at a Damian Lillard Elite Camp. The native of France missed the early part of summer workouts with a shoulder problem but said back in late July that it was improving.
ISU coach T.J. Otzelberger said last month that Toure is the best on-ball defender in the nation.
Toure is expected to return to action in January.
