Iowa State’s Steve Prohm Discusses His Future

Ames, Iowa — Steve Prohm believes he deserves the chance to continue as Iowa State’s coach. A program that has won four of the last six Big 12 Tournament titles cratered this season as the Cyclones finished 0-18 in the Big 12.

It was their first winless conference season since 1937.

Prohm is in his sixth season as coach and believes the future is bright.

The Cyclones will play Oklahoma on Wednesday in the opening round of the Big 12 Tournament.

Prohm still has four years remaining on his contract.
