Iowa is 3-0 after a 55-0 win over Northern Iowa and opens Big Ten play this week on the road at 18th-ranked Michigan.
That’s Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz, who says he likes how the Hawkeyes approached the nonconference schedule.
Quarterback Hank Brown connected on all 12 of his pass attempts against the Panthers, and through three games is completing nearly 73% of his throws with three touchdowns and no interceptions.
Brown says the 3-0 start is a boost heading into conference play.
