Iowa City, Iowa (RI) — Iowa enters its bye week ranked 17th in the latest AP Top 25 after a 41-24 win at Washington.

Quarterback Jeremy Hecklinski made his first start in place of the injured Hank Brown and completed 14-of-19 passes for 202 yards and three touchdowns as the Hawkeyes improved to 5-1.

That’s Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz, who now has extra time to evaluate the quarterback situation before Iowa’s next game on October 24th at Minnesota.

Running back Kamari Moulton rushed for a career-high 208 yards as the Hawkeyes rolled up 263 rushing yards against the Huskies.
