Iowa’s Cade McNamara And Coach Kirk Ferentz on the Hawkeye offense

Iowa quarterback Cade McNamara is confident the Hawkeye offense will make progress.

Iowa is coming off a 31-0 loss at Penn State in which the Hawkeyes managed only four first downs. Through four games they are ranked next to last in the country in total offense.

McNamara says the Hawkeyes have shifted their focus to Saturday’s game at home against Michigan State.

McNamara delivered an impassioned address to the team following the loss at Penn State.

Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz says there is no magic formula to fix Iowa’s offense.

Ferentz says there are no plans to shake up the coaching staff or change the play caller.

Ferentz says bouncing back this week against Michigan State begins with the coaches.

Ferentz says there were no bright spots at Penn State.

Ferentz says they would like to get the wide receivers more involved in the offense. wideouts have been targeted only 35 times in four games and only four times last week.
