Iowa’s Kris Murray is returning for his junior season after withdrawing from the NBA Draft.
Iowa forward Kris Murray says he is happy with his decision to return for his junior season. Murray tested the NBA Draft process after a sophomore season in which he averaged nearly 10 points and more than four rebounds per game.
Murray says he learned a lot about the areas in which ne needs to improve.
Murray says the NBA workouts have helped him improve his game.

Iowa head coach Fran McCaffery said, “Everyone in our program is very excited to have Kris back. We are happy that Kris had a positive experience going through the NBA process. He gained valuable feedback through workouts and conversations with NBA personnel. Kris will be awesome next year.”
