Purdue raced out to a 17-2 lead, connected on 19 three pointers and crushed 17th ranked Iowa 104-68. Coach Fran McCaffery says the Hawkeyes never recovered after getting jumped at the outset.
Purdue shot 63 percent for the game and McCaffery says his team had no answer on the defensive end.
Evan Boudreaux led Purdue with 18 points.
Purdue is 6-6 in the Big Ten. Iowa is 7-5.
