(KIWA Staff Photo)Seattle, Washington (RI) — The 20th-ranked Iowa Hawkeyes look for a rare victory on the West Coast when they visit Washington Friday night.
Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz says the travel and time difference won’t play a factor in the outcome.
The Hawkeyes face a significant challenge against Washington dual-threat quarterback Demond Williams Jr.
Ferentz says Iowa’s pass rush will need to be sound.
It will be Iowa’s first visit to Husky Stadium since 1963, and Washington’s home field has traditionally been a tough place for visiting teams.
