NWC Holds 2nd, Dordt Falls To 13th In Latest Women’s Poll

Northwestern College is ranked second in this week’s edition of the NAIA Division II Women’s Basketball Coaches’ poll released Tuesday by the national office.

The Red Raiders are in the second slot for the third straight poll, owning a 25-3 overall record and totaling 302 points. They shared the regular season title with top-ranked Concordia, both going 19-3 in conference play, and are the No.2 seed in the GPAC postseason tournament.

Dordt fell one spot to 13th with a 20-10 overall record, and garnered 185 points, and own a 13-9 GPAC record. Dordt is the No.4 seed in the GPAC postseason tournament.

Concordia continues to hold the top spot, receiving all 12 first place votes and 312 points. Southeastern (Fla.) moved up to third in this week’s poll, followed by Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) and College of the Ozarks (Mo.).
